Cookie Policy

Last updated: April 2025

This page explains how Notcuk uses cookies. By using the site, you agree to this policy.

What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files saved to your browser by the websites you visit. These files help the site recognize you and remember your preferences.

Cookies We Use

Notcuk uses only the session cookie, which is strictly necessary for the service to function. No third-party tracking, advertising, or analytics cookies are used.

Session Cookie (nd_session)

This cookie is used to authenticate your identity when you log in. It is automatically deleted when you close your browser or after 24 hours of session inactivity.

  • Type: Session cookie
  • Purpose: User session management
  • Duration: 24 hours
  • Third party: No

Password-Protected Note Access

When you unlock a password-protected note, a temporary confirmation is stored in your session so you are not asked for the password again during that session. This information is not sent to the server and is deleted when the browser is closed.

How to Control Cookies

You can disable cookies or delete existing cookies from your browser settings. However, if you disable the session cookie, you will not be able to use features that require login (member dashboard, note editing, etc.).

Changes

This policy may be updated as the application changes. The current version is always available on this page.
