Share code snippets with readable formatting

Choose code format to share an error example, configuration snippet or short command. A code note uses a monospaced font and preserves line breaks and indentation for readable examples.

Create a code note

Choose code format on the home page and paste your snippet. Add a title describing the language or problem if useful. Send the resulting short link to the person reviewing your example.

Copy the code or its link

The content copy button copies the whole snippet. The link copy button copies the note address. These separate controls let you share the code itself or its page.

Prepare a useful example

Include the smallest snippet that shows the issue, the expected result and the relevant error message. Remove API keys, passwords and personal information. Notcuk displays code as text and does not execute it.

Retention and access

Guest code notes become unavailable after 48 hours. Account notes follow account and retention rules. Add a note password if you want to restrict access beyond possession of the link.
